Window.open('http://www.example.com/file.php?id=<?=$id?>&something=<?=$f
oo?>');
Or, if you're doing it with a form, do it all in javascript
Function new_window()
{
query_string = 'id=' . document.myform.id.value + '&something=' +
documents.myform.something.value';
url = 'http://www.example.com/file.php?' +
query_string;
window.open(url);
}
I'm not a JS expert, so take the above as pseudo code...
