Hi
You need to convert the date to a timestamp with mktime() then use the date function and pass it the timestamp.

Hey All, I want to be able to check a variable date to find out what day of the week it is. When I try and use getdate() or date() it only allows me to use the current date. I want to pass a date with a specific day, month and year. What the heck am I missing? Phillip -- PHP General Mailing List (http://www.php.net/) To unsubscribe, visit: http://www.php.net/unsub.php
