Having searched in mailing list archive, I got the two different versions answers... YES 1) 1999-11-05 1:11:28 http://marc.theaimsgroup.com/?l=php-general&m=94176453205004&w=2 NO 2) 1998-12-28 22:43:19 http://marc.theaimsgroup.com/?l=php-general&m=91487778814026&w=2 BTW, everything is the latest version... Any clues? Thanks. Koo ---------------------------------------------------------------------- My original posting: I have PHP4+MODSSL+OPENSSL+MYSQL... compiled with APACHE. Now I have upgraded my MySQL from 3.22.32 to 3.23.22-beta. Having tested the new features of MySQL in PHP scripts. Worked fine. Question: Do I have to recompiled PHP4+MODSSL+OPENSSL..+APACHE?? Thanks. Koo OLD MYSQL: ./configure --prefix=/usr/local --localstatedir=/var/mysql/data make make install NEW MYSQL: ./configure --prefix=/usr/local --localstatedir=/var/mysql/data --with-berkeley-db --with-berkeley-db-includes=/usr/local/BerkeleyDB.3.1/include --with-berkeley-db-libs=/usr/local/BerkeleyDB.3.1/lib make make install
