problem with submit-event script from php.net

Hi there, this is my first time posting. I've set up the event calendar script that http://www.php.net uses on their front page. The only problem I'm having is getting the information from the mysql database to the backend.csv file that it uses. Everything is working properly included the submitting of the events, and the data is being imported correctly. Has anyone used this script before, or maybe has some ideas on what I need to check? Thanks in advance. Dave
