There are also two other things which could greatly improve your Dreamweaver
and PHP relations. If you look under Edit -> Preferences and select the HTML
Rewriting you have a bunch of check boxes. I myself, as soon as Dreamweaver
is installed, go in here and uncheck all of thr boxes. I dont like allowing
DW to rewrite my code. I often work with JSP files that mostly use
templates, and a lot of the time the page doesent even have a </body> tag
because its put in with an include from somewhere else.
You will also notice another checkbox Never Rewrite HTML in files with
extensions: and in that text field you could add .php .php3 .phtml .inc or
whatever else you use for your file names. This will keep it from rewriting
any of those at all.
Also just an addon, sometimes you may find it actually easier if you design
the look and feel of the page, then just go to homesite or whatever PHP
editor you use and then start with the coding. But yet, everyone has their
own editing styles. These are just some of mine and what I have found
usefull.

Dreamweaver to handle PHP tags?
Just a tip...
When adding PHP-scripts to a file thats later opened in DreamWeaver. If
the end of you PHP-file looks something like this (with an ?> before
ending the body-tag):
echo "hello php-world!\n";
?>
</body>
</html>
Then DreamWeaver could delete your PHP-script!!!
The solution is to everytime put a P-line before ending the body-tag.
This will prevent DreamWeaver from actually removing your PHP-script!
Something like this:
echo "hello php-world!\n";
?>
<p> </p>
</body>
</html>
Has anyone experienced this too?
