Don't bother about the value of the $PHP_SELF string
(.....php/php.exe/apache/htdocs/myscript.php). You can use it as if php were a
module (/myscript.php). It just looks a little ugglier but has no impact on the
use of $PHP_SELF. E.g. you can put $PHP_SELF in the action-attribute of a html
form (
<form
action="<?php echo $PHP_SELF ?>"
method="post"
name="php_self_test"
>
</form>
). It works. It's ok.
