The second argument to strstr... indeed, that fixes that.. thanks now, I have a problem with mozilla and netscape. Although they both accept the ob_start("ob_gzhandler"); netscape gives a comunication error, and mozilla just a blank page, IE on the Mac however displays the output. The blank page in mozilla is mentioned in the manual, but how do get around this?? Kind regards Kevin
