Good Afternoon:
Unfortunately, I can't remember the precise command (nor do I have a chance
to look it up), but there is a header command you can send to the browser
(something about NOCACHE) that will tell the browser to reload the page and
not draw from the cached memory.
Maybe someone else can remember this?
Respectfully:
Michael Richardson

Subject: [PHP] MS IE ignoring PHP HTML
I don't know whether this is the right newsgroup or not and could be that
i'm the 10.000th person asking this question, but i've got a rather buggy
problem!
I've got various visitors complaining that they cannot see the data they've
just changed in the MySQL database. They keep on seeing the same page,
although the altered data is saved to the db. I've just checked it on a
Windows 98 2nd edition machine with MS IE 5.00 and they are right. Even if
another user logs in and asks for a database page, he'll see the first
version the first visitor looked at of that page, not even his own data!!!
I haven't been able to create this problem on a Linux machine and I've
tested it with a lot of different browsers.
I have tried the refresh button and disableling the proxy server, even
deleted all history but the problem stays!
Can I in one way or the other force MS IE through PHP to accept the new data
my server sends the brower and not just to display the fist version of that
page it ever saw?
I use PHP 3.8.14-2, PHP lib 7.2c, MySQL 3.22.32-1, Apache 1.3.11-1 on a
Linux 2.2.14 system.
Hope someone can help me out. Can't imagine I'm the only one with this
problem!
Thanx in advance
