I'm with Jason on this one... it's reasonably easy to figure out by looking
in the manual, reading the section/chapter on functions. it took me about
15 seconds to find the relevant paragraphs and examples:
http://www.php.net/manual/en/functions.arguments.php
JJ Harrison, look under "default argument values" heading on the above page,
and you'll see your answer.
