How can I insert large amounts of text in Textarea?

Hello all, I am trying to create a content-adminstration panel for a non-profit think tank. I need to create a form where they can just paste in large amounts of text that will then be inserted into the MYSql database and used to create the HTML files. The problem is that <textarea> seems to have a limit on the amount of text that it will allow (?) Is this a browser limitation (using Netscape/IE 4.0) and does anyone have an idea how I can get around it? I'm using PHP for the form processing, is there a way I can use PHP to split up the file upon arrival, or? The easiest solution would be to have them upload a text file and insert that into the database but I don't want to have them take the extra step of converting it. Any ideas? -greg _______________________________ Greg Schnippel schnippy@earthlink.net -- ICQ# 67413292
