Session_register ()

Hi,
I am creating an array mysession, and trying to
register it with
Session_register("mysession");
But when I try to read that array using
foreach($GLOBALS['mysession'] as $ele)
{
}
it gives me parse error as invalid argument for
foreach.
Can anyone tell me whats wrong with it?
