Hi Liam, Is the case that somebody gave you an offer and you took it? A word is a word and a man is a man. If your salary was agreed beforehand, paid as promised and the work was as you would have reason to expect how could you be "getting screwed"?

What's a reasonable pay for this amount of PHP coding, for a 17 year old?

Just about anything you and your employer would have agreed under the law. It is a fact that it can be damned hard to find jobs _at any payment_ as 17 without proven practical skills. The reason is not that spending time and resources on very young people usually is a very profitable idea. Here's a tip: Try to feel happy that you got any paid job allowing you to develop your creative skills. (My first job as a programmer was to implement raw salary printouts in Cobol) Consider doing the job as well as you possibly can so you have something to show your next potential employer. Next time check out conditions, payments and your market value well. Negotiate as good conditions as you can get. Then go for it. If you find yourself quite satisfied when things at least don't work too much worse than expected and even happy when it goes better... ...you'll most probably end up considering yourself rich, privileged and lucky!
