Session Problem - I think

Im getting the following errors when trying to run a session based page on
my server:

Warning: Failed to write session data (files). Please verify that the
current setting of session.save_path is correct (/tmp) in Unknown on line 0
Im thinking that this is a PHP related problem, but im not sure what to
change to fix it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
