open/save file from db / Strange

Hi All I wrote a script that send to the browser, files from the DB. Some times the browser ask if I want to open or save and some times it just open the file itself in the frame. There is also a difference between IE and Netscape in this matter. How can I force the Question: open / save as ? the headers which sent to the browser are: Header ( "Content-disposition: filename=".$file_name); Header("Content-type: $type"); echo $data; -- -------------------------- Canaan Surfing Ltd.
