Automatic FTP upload

Hi all I have a site that a client wants to update from internal information on a daily basis. At present he uses a form within an admin are to upload a CSV file to the server and then PHP reads the info in and incorporates it within the database. As his file has grown this has become a painful way to do things. I was thinking that if I could automatically run an .exe file (he uses windows) which would automatically pick the file from a directory and upload it to a server then I could use CRON to do the rest in conjunction with PHP. Has anyone come across any small apps which allow you to do this via FTP? Thanks Ade
