Hmmm. I'm not sure if you can specify one function per directory, however
you can try the Apache forcetype option.
<Location /virtual>
ForceType application/x-httpd-php
</Location>
And then in your apache document root you have a php script called
'virtual'. In 'virtual' parse the REQUEST_URI or PATH_INFO to figure out
what the user is trying to access and include the function you need.
So in essence you can map www.yoursite.com/virtual/john/
to /<path to apache>/docs/john/ (or to whatever you want) and include
whatever functions you need.

Subject: [PHP] [PHP4]/[Apache] default function
hi,
i was wondering if there is a way to force apache/php call a certain
page/function upon entering a particular directory? i would like to run
my site with virtual directories, and this will only work if any request
to my site automatically loads one particular file/function before looking
into the directories for a specific file...
thanx in advance for any help! :)
