Problem populating a select

Hi All, I have the following problem: I have 2 selects, one or categories and one for products The category select is populated by a DB table. Depending on the item selected I want to populate the second select (ONCHANGE event). Example if I select colors as category I want to populate the product select fetching all elements from the table products with the selected category (colors). Any idea?
