The only suggestion I have is the most obvious one. The "other" page that you are trying to read the cookie on is in the directory /client/admin/ or in a subdirectory of the directory? If it's somewhere else, it won't work because of cookie security. On Friday, August 23, 2002, at 01:47 PM, Support @ Fourthrealm.com wrote:
Hey everyone... Creating a cookie: I have the following: $cookiepathadmin='/clients/admin/'; $some_int=25; ...... setcookie ("adminid", $some_int, time()+15552000, $cookiepathadmin); The cookie is being set no problem - I can see the file, and even access the cookie value with other programming languages. But, when I try to access the cookie value on another page with PHP, it doesn't return the proper value: echo $HTTP_COOKIE_VARS["adminid"]; echo $adminid; I've tried deleting the cookie file, closing the browser, etc.. all the usual stuff, but no luck. Any suggestions?
