If JavaScript is an acceptable condition, then it could save the day for you. You could use it to submit hidden forms using links such as "<a href='javascript:FormSubmit()'>" where FormSubmit() would be a simple JS function to submit the hidden form.

To make the address field in the browser stay the same through a session on the pages I'm writing, I want to transfer as little info as possible with GET. Moving info from the frameset to the subframes is okay, then the address field doesn't contain the GET data. Also, POST with hidden works quite well. But there is one special case: clicking on a link should reload the frameset with parameters about which pages to fill the frames with. Those parameters are quite visible in the address field. Doing this with POST and a button changes the graphics of the page too much. So my question is: is it possible to format submit buttons so that they look and behave like links? Or, can I POST data with an <a> tag in some way? Regards, Børge
