Basically, every HTTP interchange consists of:
Browser sends headers+content
Server returns headers+content
headers+content are separated by a single blank line.
Most browsers correctly interpret some "core" headers like Location: and
Date: and so forth.
All browsers have all sorts of funky non-standard headers their evil*
developers added and you can use, only it won't work right on the other
browsers, so why bother?
Which headers do what to which browser is an endless topic, unless you focus
on the ones that work reliably for all browsers, in which case the list gets
pretty short fast. :-)
Honestly, though, after that, there just isn't that much to know... Any
particular headers you are interested in, or specific goals you want to
achieve that might involve headers?
* Actually the evil part is the browsers' developers adding headers, and
then not honoring the other browsers' developers' additional headers, but
that's a bit too complex to squeeze into the other sentence.
