AOLServer and libphp4

Hi, I posted this earlier, but didn't get a response. I'm very interested in using AOLServer because Apache is too resource intensive. However, as explained below, the libphp4 module I compiled for AOLServer crashes the server seemingly whenever it encounters a moderate amount of requests (a couple refreshes per second with IE will crash it). Can anyone look at this and tell me what the problem is? If the problem is AOLServer or PHP on AOLServer, can anyone recommend another webserver /w stable PHP support? I tried stressing the server with static HTML, but it wouldn't crash (I used a 500K text file and managed to saturate 100Mbit ethernet). I also tried a regular PHP page without any database links (basically just a 1 to 100 while loop). This PHP page did crash the server with a bus error and similar messages to what is shown above. So, I'm wondering if I'm missing some tunable parameters or something to keep this from happening? This is on my test machine, which is a 200 MHz Ultra /w 256 MB of RAM, my production machine has 512 MB. The binaries where compiled with gcc 2.95.2. Below, I've included the startup output from nsd.
