Yes.
Either compile a CGI/Standalone version of PHP (leave out things like
with-apache or with-apxs when you ./configure) and add
#!/usr/local/bin/php -q
as the first line of the scripts. This runs php like perl or shell
scripts are ofteh run. You may have to change the path to php depending
on where you put the php executable.
The other choice is to use lynx to cause scripts to be executed. Just
point lynx at the script thru your existing web server. I much prefer
the other method. While the lynx method looks easier at first there are
more places for it to break, and more work for the system to run this
way.
Either way you can execute the scripts at a specific time with cron. If
you are not running Linux/UNIX, I think you can still do it, but you
will have to find someone else to help you. I don't do Windows...
