I've tried setting an unknown mime type, but I get the same thing. Here
is what I'm doing. I'm injecting this request with the help of netcat.
---------------------------------------------
POST /gold/posttest.php HTTP/1.1
Host: phaedrus
Content-Type: mime/completecrap
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<x/>
---------------------------------------------
it's being recieved by a script that looks like this
---------------------------------------------
<?
header("Content-type: text/plain");
if(isset($HTTP_RAW_POST_DATA)) {
print "HTTP_RAW_POST_DATA is set, and it is:\n";
print $HTTP_RAW_POST_DATA;
}
//phpinfo();
?>
---------------------------------------------
The result is something like this:
---------------------------------------------
HTTP_RAW_POST_DATA is set, and it is:
---------------------------------------------
basically HTTP_RAW_POST_DATA is defined, but has a null "" string. :-(
TIA,
