The variable name is just $HTTP_REFERER. Some others are:
$HTTP_USER_AGENT, $REMOTE_ADDR, $REMOTE_HOST, $QUERY_STRING, and $PATH_INFO.
There's more which you can find by looping through the globals array:
foreach ($GLOBALS as $key=>$value)
{
print "\$GLOBALS[\"$key\"] == $value<br>\n";
}
