The directory functions (www.php.net/manual/ref.dir.php) include opendir
and readdir, which in combination with the file system functions
(www.php.net/manual/ref.filesystem.php) will allow you to roll your own
ls. In combination with checking file modification time, you should be
able to do what you want.
