Since upgrading to some version of PHP4 + MySQL roughly
two months ago now I started getting warnings for returned
results sets like this example;
Warning: MySQL: Unable to save result set in \
/pub/phpMyAdmin/tbl_replace.php3 on line 73
yes, even the venerable phpMyAdmin is subject to these
warnings. It is rather cosmetic because data does get
inserted into MySQL and putting a "@" in front of various
mysql_*() calls stops these warnings but they are still
apparent in new code I try out and it's annoying to have
to continually be patching code for this gotcha, whatever
it is. I've seen quite a few postings asking about this
problem so it's not only me but I have yet to come across
the "right answer" to explain why it happens and what is
the "right fix".
Can anyone put me out of my misery and provide an answer ?
