Ben, Yes, it's possible, at least the way I did it, it was possible. My method for implementing an affiliate system was customized to my unique way of creating web sites, and may not apply to others. It was for a site I have since sold, and I no longer have the code, but here was the gist of it: Webmasters sign up, get an ID. Webmasters set up links to my site any way they see fit, but link must end with ?s=ID (if ID was 245, then ?s=245). I set up my site to keep that variable 's' in the query string no matter what (it's a lot more work, but I don't like forced upon cookies). If the user eventually signed up, I stuck the ID in a field called AffiliateID in the user's record (along with name, email, credit card number, etc). When I billed the card, if this AffiliateID was <> 0, I matched it with the corresponding AffiliateID in the affiliate's table (with all their information gathered when the webmaster/affiliate signed up) and would write a line to *another* table adding the payment amount. Once the total for an affiliate reached $10 or more, I'd send them a check. That's the simple concept. It'll depend on how your system is setup as to whether it'll work for you. Some variation ought to fit in, though.
