I don't think they look for IP. I've done this sort of thing before (more
of a 'is this domain in there?' for a client who owned about 7000
different domains). I didn't have any problem, though I didn't check
Google.
But mostly, if they checked the IP address of the request machine and
restricted it to only one of their machines, only the people at Google
could do a search, and I doubt that is what they are hoping for. They
might check the *referer* (fat lot of good it would do them, too, as I saw
Koo fixing that), but the IP address would have to be of the person (in
this case, machine) doing the search, not of the referring machine.
