You might want to take a look at explode() and array functions - I don't understand exactly what you want ("I want this -- or that"), but those will probably solve the problem, whatever that is specifically.

Hi, I have a problem that I don't know how to solve within php. I have the variable $x = "How are you today" and the variable $y. Now, I want the variable to be $y = "are you today" or $y = "you today". How do I do that? Thanks, Oliver
