Form data lost

Hi All, I have a PHP form that submits to itself and checks for errors. If an error is found it prompts the user to go back and change values etc...., this works fine until I hit back the fields they have already filled in are gone. The same form in html does not loose the data when back is pressed. Does any one know any reason why this might happen. Thanks a lot all, Phil Caint.com
