The way is :
<form enctype="multipart/form-data" action="_URL_"
method="post">
<input type="hidden" name="MAX_FILE_SIZE" value="1000">
Send this file: <input name="userfile" type="file">
<input type="submit" value="Send File">
</form>
See the MAX_FILE_SIZE hidden BEFORE the userfile's type.
