DO you have server side includes enabled? I assume this is appache and with
SSI enabled I think the extension is shtml. They could be interfering.

Subject: [PHP] Parsing SHTML files
Hello fellow PHPers,
Does anyone know why I can't have PHP parse SHTML files?
I've configured my web server to parse HTM and HTML files, even
JavaScript files using the .htaccess directive like so:
AddType application/x-httpd-php3 html
AddType application/x-httpd-php3 htm
AddType application/x-httpd-php3 js
But adding a similar line for SHTML files doesn't work, the browser
prompts the user to download the file of type
"application/x-httpd-php3".
Any ideas?
thanks,
bill
