I remember reading on this a long while back. Try searching the archives of this list. The solution pointed to a Microsoft Knowledge Base article. If I recall correctly, it involved simply adding "%20" to the end of your filename string... Something like this: Header("Content-Disposition: attachment; filename=$filename%20"); Give it a try. I might be way off, but you've got nothing to lose. :) -- Aaron Gould Web Developer Parts Canada "Francis" <news@radnip.com> wrote in message news:20021015094506.51277.qmail@pb1.pair.com... > ok i know this has popped up a couple of times before but i'm still having > problems. At the moment i'm using the following: > > Header("Content-Type: application/octet-stream"); > Header("Content-Transfer-Encoding: binary"); > Header("File-Length: $fileSize"); > Header("Content-Disposition: attachment; filename=$filename"); > Header("Content-Description: File from DMS"); > fpassthru($fh); > > > > > -- > PHP General Mailing List (http://www.php.net/) > To unsubscribe, visit: http://www.php.net/unsub.php
