Ok I got a challenge. We are creating pdfs via this method to use as print
files. That works just great but now I have to encode a magstripe via these
pdfs and I am not sure if I can get it done. I have tried everything I can
find in the documentation but nothing seems to have helped.
Basically what I need is to somehow get a string value into the pdf.
Whether it is via the body of the pdf of some property or parameter. What I
need is for the string to go into the document without being encoded into
the pdf document. I have been able to accomplish this by using the string
as the title or author but the string NEEDs to be terminated via a new line.
Setting the string as one of the parameters causes it to have parenthasis
around it. Can anyone think of another way?
Thanks for your help!
Ben
PS. if you view the pdf via a ascii text viewer (ultraedit) you will see the
lines and how the document gets encoded when it is apart of the pdf.
