Query string questions ....

Hi ... I have problem in looping back the query string from one file into itself. For example I have file searchind.php and then in that file I write : <a href="searchind.php?test=$test">Back</a> .In my local computer Ms 2000 server it's worked [ I used Apache Server with mysql database in local ] but after I upload it to the colocation server which is used Linux Platform with Apache server and mysql also , it can't work ..... Why ... ? the program returned like the first we call the searchind.php. So the query string that we send to ..seems not work ? Is there any possibilities that we must set up the httpd.conf or php.ini ? What must I set .. ? Regards, Farianto.K
