Apache 2.0.40 and php 4.2.2 on Redhat 8.0

We have a PHP application that we put on this new box and for some
reason, when we assess the index.php we see the code instead of the
normal page. We have a phpinfo.php fine int eh same directory and it
works. Any ideas?
