Yeah, it's a pain, but you have to be very careful. I did the php
backend for the nsiinnovations and nsitoys web sites, and they insisted
on having descriptions with '&', '*' amd '!' in them. Talk about
encoding mangling! I'm glad I only had to do that one time!
