Hello.
I have problem with php used as cgi - under specific circumstances php
process AFTER handling request goes in some kind of endless loop eating
all available cpu time.
These circumstances are:
1. ignore_user_abort(true) in script.
2. sending any http header in script.
3. sending any body content after http header.
I'm not sure is this php or apache bug - it appears that after apache has
cancelled connection, php is still trying to write data to stdout, which
results in problem.
This problem not exists, if any of above conditions isn't true, and when
http connection isn't cancelled before all data are sent.
Here is code to reproduce problem:
------ CUT -----
<?php
ignore_user_abort(true);
header("X-whatever: whatever");
?>
whatever
------ CUT -----
I'm want to check if anybody can help me with this problem before
reporting it as php bug.
Configuration:
linux 2.4.18+grsecurity
php 4.2.3
apache 1.3.27
php is configured with apache Action directive,goes through suexec.
glibc 2.2.5-14
Best regards.
