I save excel sheets as CSV (Windows, not Mac), then use functions like
fget_csv() to read the CSV file one line at a time, inserting into MySQL
with standard insert queries.
Have a go, and let me know if you need more help. I'm pretty sure there are
decent samples of everything except the mysql stuff in the manual... I'll
make the assumption you know how to insert :)
