Actually it is : )
You can use PHP option "auto_prepend" to include a script with a check to
see if the user is really logged or not. The login script should be just a
select on a table holding the user data. You can use a cookie to hold the
"logged" or "not-logged" information or maybe sessions if you are using
PHP4.
Even if you don't want to use this method, it's still not so hard to
do. Besides, I guess this must be the only choice you have, because I
don't know of any script or package of scripts that does what you
want. And because of that, you will need to get your hands dirty
eventually.
PHP is just plain fun :)
