One idea is ...
There is 24 hours in one day. So, how about doing some checking to see
if the prize had been won before the end of the 24 hour periods. To spread
them out. How about, 24 hrs divided by 3 prize = 8 hours. So, here's one
idea, if the user get a prize in the first 8 hours, increment the prize
count anyway. If there's no prize, then do something about it. Blah blah
blah. Then at the near of the 24 hours, if there is less than 3 prizes,
then do something about it.
I know it is a flawed idea and a flaw logic. But never know, one logic
lead to a new idea and so on. Um, for the first 1 hour, you mentioned you
don't want all of hte prize to given out in that day. So, perhap a delay of
something would help. Who know!
