I mean, is it an ODBC } connection? Does PHP have to be located on the same server as the database? } Where do you get the libraries when compiling PHP? Can it connect to a } remote Oracle database? Anyone have any information on this? If using Windows, you can use ODBC or native PHP drivers [DLLs]. See the recent thread on the php-windows list about how I was able to get Oracle to work with php4. If using *NIX, compile php3 from the source code with the correct argument [i believe it is '--include-oci8-support' or something to that effect]. /vjl/ [who'll be writing a tutorial on this over the weekend for windoze folks]
