I pass the page I am leaving as a GET variable, ie. $url='newpage.php?from=oldpage.php?somevar=a&someothervar=b'
I want to retrace my steps back to a main menu so I also need to pass from's sent to this page, so the call to newpage is:
$url='newpage.php?from=oldpage.php?somevar=a&someothervar=b&'.$_SERVER['QUERY_STRING']
