RE: [PHP-GENERAL] fatal error

I'm having a serious problem with my PHP4.0.0 installation on Linux 2.2.13 i686 (Linux Slackware 7), Apache/1.3.12. PHP is loaded as a module and the Apache server is compiled with mod_so. Previously this site was running fine using PHP4RC1, but now, attempts to access certain pages lock up the web server after displaying only a portion of the page causing it to be unresponsive for several minutes. During this time CPU is idle and everything else seems to behave normally. An example of this is the phpinfo page and the error messages that apache is logging are below. While viewing the phpinfo.php page, the entire thing displays properly, but the ZEND logo that normally displays appears to be what hangs the sever though this might be a red herring. I admit that I don't even have the foggiest clue as to what the problem is. Could there be a compile directive I missed? I compiled it the exact same way that I compiled PHP4RC1 so I don't understand what could have gone wrong.
