I try to use transparent session ID with PHP 4.0.0
I configure PHP as a module of Apache 1.3.12 on Sun Solaris 2.6 something
like that:
for Apache:
./configure --prefix=/opt/apache --enable-module=so
for PHP:
./configure --with-apxs=/opt/apache/bin/apxs --disable-debug --enable-track-
vars --enable-trans-sid
I wrote a very simple script to test trans-sid which doesn't work (the
PHPSID uri's param is never set):
<html>
<? session_start(); ?>
<?=session_id()?>
<br>
<a href="test.php">link</a>
</html>
of course this one works fine:
<html>
<? session_start(); ?>
<?=session_id()?>
<br>
<a href="test.php?<?=SID?>">link</a>
</html>
My [Session] in php.ini configuration file is:
session.save_handler = files
session.save_path = /tmp
session.use_cookies = 0
session.name = PHPSID
session.auto_start = 0
session.cookie_lifetime = 0
session.cookie_path = /
session.cookie_domain =
session.serialize_handler = php
session.gc_probability = 1
session.gc_maxlifetime = 1440
session.referer_check = 0
session.entropy_length = 0
session.entropy_file =
session.cache_limiter = nocache
session.cache_expire = 180
Is there anything else to do or to configure to enable trans-sid or is this
a problem with Solaris support?
Another question:
Could someone give me examples about params session.cache_limiter and
session.cache-expire
of the php.ini configuration file, because I found no documentation on this?
Thanks for your help.
