EMAIL Attachments

Hi there, I have a system that allows a user to upload their CV to the webserver for jobs application. I then have a script that emails this to a admin person. The only problem is that I don't know how to attach the CV (usually in word) to the email. At the moment I am sending them the URL of the CV on the server so when they click it they can download it. Does anyone know of a way I can attach a file to the email sent by the server ? Thankyou Kindly in Advance. Abe
