Ben, This is what I use on one of my systems. The advantages are that no temp file is created and the cpu time is very low. The bad part is that if it's aborted it must be restarted from the beginning (however, I'm working on code for this). Just fill $infozip with wherever infozip is and $zipfls with whatever files you want zipped. <? $zipcmdline = $infozip . ' -1Xjq - ' . $zipfls; Header( "Content-type: application/x-zip-compressed"); passthru($zipcmdline); ?> Mike... At 04:54 PM 8/17/2000 +0800, Ben Heuer quoth:
Hello, I am looking to have a functionality that allows a user to ZIP files on the server before downloading them? Is this possible?
