Re: Oracle 7 support

OCI 7 does not need any modification to support 8 and 9 but they aren't as powerful, thus should only be used for Oracle 7. OCI8 is the 8th OCI and fully supports Oracle 8 with and Oracle 9. For Oracle 9 there are a few thing that are missing, but overall can be safely used on high level production environments.
