you can use the environment variable $HTTP_REFERER. It is a standard
CGI variable
You might want to read up a bit on CGI:
http://hoohoo.ncsa.uiuc.edu/cgi/interface.html
On top of CGI variable, PHP also has a lot of other variable you can
use...
make a file called phpinfo.php and put the following in it:
<html>
<body>
<?php print phpinfo();?>
</body>
</html>
You can then see everything that your system/php has to offer you.
