PHP download problem IE5 on mac

I'm using this code to various files for download via a http header - $filename = basename($filepath); header("Content-type: unknown/unknown"); header("Content-Disposition: attachment; filename=$filename"); readfile($filepath); works fine in most cases - the save dialogue appears. However - IE on a MAC loads the file inline rather than throwing the save prompt. Any ideas?
